Enjoy a sneak preview of great ideas in the exciting Exhibit Hall. The Opening Night Reception provides an opportunity to visit with a host of wonderful vendors and your colleagues as you enjoy live music and refreshments! Complimentary food stations will be located throughout the Exhibit Hall. Also, look in the Exhibit Hall for a preview of the Poster Sessions.

This event is free, but let us know on the registration for if you will be attending.

It's Prairie Home Companion meets California school librarians as we return to the golden days of radio. Under the direction of Joe and Paula McHugh, CSLA cast and crew will recreate an old-fashioned 'live' radio drama broadcast, circa 1940, complete with period microphones and an assortment of engaging, hand-operated sound effects.  Join us as we follow the trials and tribulations of a family as they journey West in a fun-filled production of Off to California.

Join in the fun. Spend the evening with your friends and colleagues, enjoy refreshments, meet and greet your CSLA past and current presidents, and enjoy the show.

Flat Iron Steak:Espresso rubbed Flat Iron steak with herb polenta, fresh asparagus and Chianti demi glace
Vegetarian: Rigatoni with tomato concassé, asparagus, shaved garlic and spicy tomato-balsamic sauce
Salad: Crisp Hearts of Romaine and Toy Box Tomatoes, Green Goddess Dressing
Dessert: Warm Berry Cobbler

Both meals include an assortment of breads, and coffee or tea.
